Better World 2012? Prophecy Or Hype?
Is it the starting point of the New Age type of ascension or a End of the world Armageddon end? Will we have a far better earth or a destroyed planet? Heralded by some as the emerging of a rebirth of the new awareness and by others as the harbinger of mayhem and death. Is it prophesy or hype?
Which is it? As the year 2012 nears, the press will certainly blow the trumpets of alarm. Remember the trumpets blaring with the coming on the year 2000, the turn of the century into a fresh millennium. Do you remember the Y2K craze?
The potential for a complete break down of civilization hung on our ability to reprogram all of the computers in the globe to accept four uncomplicated digits – 2000. Well, we did it. Is this new risk of the same kind? Can we resolve it? Is 2012 any different?
As you can imagine this is distinct. Different because it can be of no human man-made substance or hold in your hands data. It will be the product of prophecy and of interpretation. It's different mainly because it threatens not only our lifestyle, but also life itself. That is certainly, if all of the doom and gloom described from themedia is true. Actually, did you know the Mayan calendar did not forecast the end of the world but rather a transition into a whole new earth!
If it will be the coming of new awareness, then it might only threaten our form of life, our daily comings and goings, our family relationships with our families and neighbors. It may perhaps threaten our political actions and our international actions. I say threaten simply because a whole new consciousness implies a brand new way of thinking, an ascension of sorts. It suggests transform from the way we are now. Change is always a threat to the masses.
If it's doomsday that we experience, then surely it threatens life itself. Those that see this forthcoming event as catastrophic, see it as a world-wide event. They see it as an event that may shake the earth, one that could impact all of humanity. Could it be an event of destruction, one that wipes out humanity? Some discover such a prediction to be an insult towards the Divine. Nevertheless, believers of a lot of faiths and non-believers, as well, hold that somber belief in Armageddon.
The specific date that is certainly the focus of this prophecy is December 21, 2012, the winter solstice. That year is going to be a leap year . In the United States, it's a presidential election year. There will be a summer Olympics in London. In that year, American military presence within the Republic of Korea will end. On December 21, 2012 the planet Earth will probably be in galactic alignment with our Universe. Scientists believe something will happen, but what? Gravitational forces and, maybe some other undiscovered forces, will probably be at play in the course of this time. What effect it will have on us is unknown.
The Pleiadians channeled through Barbara Marciniak, many years ago, that we would be entering a "photon belt" in the course of this time. Nasa confirms that we have entered a radiation belt over the last few years. Unbelieveably, the Pleiadians also say that an Earth ascension occurs where our planet is sent in time and space to a new location in the Universe. One in which we have two suns. The Hopis also have the prophecy of the globe with two suns, interesting?
Before we write off these prophecies of a new consciousness or total destruction, we should take be aware that there are significant and respectable scientists that are doing significant research and study of the Mayan prophecies. Some scientists note that it is in the year 2012 that the Sun will discharge strong solar activity that could have major implications for the earth. Could it be that indeed both a new awareness and catastrophic event will be the legacy of 2012?
Shouldn't we learn what we can and prepare for the possibilities? Isn't it much better to be safe than sorry?
